He is, along with his twin sister Mosaella, the heir to Diogenes Sofistès, founder of Gelda Sanguinis, the secret society of vampires. He has an extraordinary intellect and a peppery irony. An erudite, he studied among others with Cicero, Dante and Leonardo da Vinci. He is considered, as his father was, the guardian of the law of his lineage. In 1606 he married Saersina, the daughter of Krimmjan, the Gelda’s chief. Officially, he is a philanthropist active in the city of Edinburgh.

She is the beloved daughter of Krimmjan, the great leader of Gelda, she is a vampire with extraordinary powers and from a young age she shows great ability as a mediator in the most difficult situations.

Okton was born Vampire in 15 AD in Gothiscandza, the first settlement of the Goths following their migration from Scandinavia. Okton is the son of Krimmjan’s younger brother, his trusted advisor and supreme commander of Gelda Sanguinis’ phalanx. He is bound to Saersina and Tybaerius by a fraternal affection.

Bogdan was born Vampire in 100 BC in Yugra (Jugra), the mythical land of origin in the Steppes of the Magyars. Thanks to his fighting skills he moves from land to land as a mercenary, until he becomes the trusted right-hand man and accomplice of Ferenc Farkas, noble representative of the Hungarian vampires, and murderer of Marcus, Krimmjan’s eldest son. For helping Ferenc, who abandons him to his fate, he suffers the Foc Ruisine – the fire of shame, a practice of torture that will disfigure his body forever.

Halldór was born human in 830 A.D. in the Norwegian kingdom of Sogn as Harald, son of King Halfand the Black. He is transformed into a vampire by Alvar who will also change his name to Halldór. Halldór had become the king of the Goblins because of a spell by Lorenzo, the guardian of the dark arts of Gelda, until he was freed thanks to the love of Mosaella.
